about Wan Yun

A Taiwanese fashion designer, fashion illustrator, fashion stylist, and milliner, based in New York. Alumni of Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), New York.

Wan Yun’s passions lie in apparel industry, especially obsessed with sportswear, children’s wear and evening wear/ special occasion. She is limitless in her exploration of different silhouettes and styles, and enjoys finding a balance between avant-garde and practicality.

Can’t live without colors, a denim-holic, tea lover, and neat freak, trying her best to be eco-friendly and minimal.

台灣服裝設計師、時尚插畫師、造型師、女帽設計師，畢業於美國紐約Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT)，主修一般女裝。

從時裝、童裝、晚禮服到特殊服裝，皆可以看到她賦予的熱與情。關於設計風格，她從不替自己設限框架，享受不斷穿梭於前衛與實穿性間，尋找無數個平衡的可能，看似妥協的她其實壓根不願向無聊的商業化設計投降。

她的世界不能是黑白的、丹寧控、每天都得喝茶、整潔狂人，致力於環保議題與學習極簡生活。

ZHEN LI

Wan Yun started her fashion design journey with ZHEN LI. Here she laid her foundation of pattern making, sewing, fitting, and serging, creating well-made, customized garments. She also gained valuable experience in customer service.


CELESTINO

Established in 2005, with precisely crafted, eco-conscious and fashion-forward women’s and men’s collections. Classical couture techniques with innovative concepts, up-cycled luxury fabrics, and unconventional details are united to create the aesthetic of CELESTINO.  During her work there, she has learned the beautiful and dedicated couture techniques such as boing, silhouettes, patterns, beading, and so on.

JUSTINXX

To Wan Yun, JUSTINXX was both a brand and an art factory that sells surprises and fantasies, turning dreams into reality. Justin Chou, the design director and owner of JUSTINXX, is an undoubtedly talented designer and artist with a classic style. While working there, she experimented with texture in her designs.
